Here you'll find what you and meebee can expact from each other. Next to fun Fast, Fun and Friendly meebee is also Fair.
Bottom-line is this: you are responsible for establishing and maintaining your own calendar(s) and event information. Meebee acts only as an interface to facilitate communications between users. Meebee does not control, nor is it responsible for, the truth, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, quality, appropriateness, or legality of any information provided to users of the Site or the Services via a user’s use of the Site or the Services. If Meebee makes changes to the site and terms you'll either accept those changes or cease using meebee's services.

All agreements, also the one with Bees, are based on mutual expectations. If we got expectations lined up we both never have to look at these terms below again. However before hiring your personal assistant it is important that it's crystal clear for you what meebee can and cannot do. Secondly it is also important to be aware of what meebee expects from you!

By clicking on the 'Accept' button or otherwise using or accepting the Software, Site and/or Services, you agree to be bound by the terms of these Terms of Service.

YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, SITE AND/OR SERVICES ACKNOWLEDGES THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE, UNDERSTAND THEM, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE.




I.WHAT YOU CAN EXPACT FROM MEEBEE
1. Regarding Modification of the Site or Terms of Service
Meebee reserves the right, in its sole discretion, at any time, to
(a) modify, discontinue or terminate the Site and the Services
(b) modify these Terms of Service or any related terms and conditions governing your use of the Site and the Services.
All modified terms and conditions will be effective after they are initially posted on the Site (unless a longer notice period is required by applicable law). If any modified terms and conditions are not acceptable to you, your only recourse is to cease using the Site and the Services, and if applicable, cancel your Membership Account (as defined below). By continuing to access or use the Site and the Services after meebee makes any such revision, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms of Services.
2. Regarding Membership and Use of the Services
(a) By using any of the meebee products, software, or services available at *.meebee.com (collectively referred to as 'Services') provided by meebee AG ('meebee'), you agree to be bound by all terms and conditions described on this page ('Terms of Agreement').
(b) In order to use all available Services (i.e., set-up profiles, synchronize, manage adressbook and more), you must register as a Member and create a membership account by providing your name, email address, time zone, and account password ('Membership Account'). Your Account information and the Configuration Information you provide to meebee is stored in local system files on your computer and on meeee's servers. Meebee reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time without notice. Site or Services are not available to persons who are at under thirteen (13)
(c) You may elect to voluntarily upload certain information, documents and content to meebee’s servers, such as files in various formats, meeting agendas, bios, comments and answers as to your availability for proposed meetings ('Meeting Materials'). Depending on the privacy settings you choose (as available) for Meeting Materials, this information will be made available to the other Participants in the meeting. You understand and agree that this information may be shared by different Participants in the meeting and meebee disclaims any and all liability with regard to the sharing of this information. All Meeting Materials will be maintained and used in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy.
(d) Based on your account use and other factors identified by meebee in its sole discretion, meebee may require verification of your identity and/or other information, as applicable, in order for you to continue using the Site and the Services. In such event, you agree to provide meebee with additional information that may be requested.
3. Regarding Accounts and Premium Features
In the near future meebee will offer Members the ability to add on additional features for a fee ('Premium Features'). More information on the types of Premium Features that meebee offers and the costs involved can be found on this page when applicable. Please read this document in its entirety regarding account restrictions. Meebee reserves the right, at any time, to change or impose fees for access to and use of the Site or Services.


4. Regarding Advertisements
Some of the Services are supported by advertising revenue and may display advertisements and promotions. These advertisements may be targeted to the content of information stored on or made available to the Services.The manner, mode and extent of advertising on the Services are subject to change without specific notice to you.
You agree that meebee may place such advertising on the Services.

5. Regarding Plugin Terms
Any use of downloadable plugins (e.g., Outlook plugin) is bound by the terms of this agreement plus the following specific terms:
A plugin may automatically download and install updates from meebee. These updates may be bug fixes, enhanced functions, new software modules, and completely new versions. You agree to receive such updates (and permit meebee to deliver these to you) as part of your use of the Services.
Meebee reserves the right to at any time transform any or all plugins into a paid service and start billing for certain or all use of the plugin(s). In such a case, you will be given the choice to discontinue using the plugin(s) or continue using the paid service.


6. Regarding Termination or Cancellation:
You may cancel your use of the meebee Services by sending email to subscriptions@meebee.com or support@meebee.com. Meebee is under NO OBLIGATION to provide you with a refund at any time.


II. WHAT MEEBEE EXPACTS FROM YOU:


1. Regarding Subscription:
As a Subscriber or as a Contact you agree to:
(a) provide true, accurate, current and complete Account information; and
(b) maintain and promptly update all Account information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and Membership Account information, and are fully responsible for any and all activities that occur under your password or Membership Account. You agree to: (a) immediately notify meebee of any unauthorized use of your password or Membership Account or any other breach of security related thereto; and (b) ensure that you properly exit from your Membership Account sessions at the end of each session.
Meebee recommends that you make a backup copy of your data before installing meebee toolbar for Outlook. Meebee is not responsible for lost or duplicated data. You should also ensure that your system meets the system requirements prior to installing the software.
q) You agree that you shall only use the Software, Site and Services in a manner that complies with all applicable laws and court orders in the jurisdictions in which you use the Software, Site and Services, including, but not limited to, applicable restrictions concerning privacy, copyright and other intellectual property rights.

2. Regarding Restrictions.

The Site and the Services may only be used and accessed for lawful purposes. You agree to abide by all applicable local, state, national and foreign laws, treatises and regulations in connection with your use of the Site and the Services (including, but not limited to, those laws that regulate the sending and transmission of email messages). In addition, without limitations, you agree to comply with the following:
(a) You may not use the Site or the Services (i) to transmit 'junk mail', 'chain letters', 'spam' or unsolicited commercial email messages the primary purpose of which is the commercial advertisement or promotion of a commercial product or service; or (ii) to send messages to distribution lists, newsgroups, or to recipients who do not know you or who are unlikely to recognize you as a known contact.
(b) You will not use the Site or the Services to promote any products or services, or to provide any products or services related to, claiming success with or offering information regarding lottery numbers or for purposes of multi-level marketing proposals (for example, offering to help participants 'get rich quickly' or 'make money surfing the Web'). You will not use the Site to promote bonus items, giveaways, random drawings, prizes, contests or games of chance.
(c) You will not use the Site or the Services for any purpose that is unlawful, fraudulent or contrary to this Terms of Services and the policies of meebee, and you will cooperate fully with meebee to investigate any suspected unlawful, fraudulent or improper activity, including, but not limited to, granting authorized meebee representatives access to any password-protected portions of your Membership Account.
(d) You may not use the Site or the Services to upload, post, email, otherwise transmit, or post links to: (i) any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional materials; or (ii) content which is harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, libelous, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, hateful, or racially, sexually, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
(e) You may not intentionally distribute viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, corrupted files, hoaxes, or any other items of a destructive or deceptive nature using the Site or the Services.
(f) You may not impersonate another person (via the use of an email address or otherwise) or otherwise misrepresent yourself or the source of any email.
(g) You are solely responsible for all equipment necessary to access and use the Site and the Services.
(h) You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any Membership Account information, computer systems or networks associated with the Site and the Services.
(i) You will not attempt to obtain any information or materials relating to the Site and the Services through any means not intentionally made available through the Site.
(j) You will not 'frame', 'mirror' or otherwise copy any portion of the Site without meebee’s express written authorization.
(k) You will not prepare derivative works based on the Software;
(l) You will not reproduce the Software except as specifically provided in this Agreement;
(m) You will not sell, assign, transfer, license, sublicense, publish, disclose, display, or otherwise make available the Software or copies thereof in any form whatsoever to any third parties or use the Software for any third party's data processing, computing, or other needs;
(n) You will not modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, subject to applicable law to the contrary; or
(o) You will not remove any proprietary notices, labels, or other identifying marks on the Software. These Terms of Service shall not be interpreted as granting to you any license or right not expressly granted herein. This license is not a sale. All rights to the software not expressly granted herein are reserved by meebee or its suppliers.
(p) You will not use the Software, Site or Services to upload, post, email, otherwise transmit, or post links to content which is harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, libelous, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, hateful, or racially, sexually, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
(q) You will not solicit or collect any information from children under the age of 13.
(r) You will not encourage or instruct any other individual to do any of the foregoing or to violate any term of this Terms of Services.


III. NON DISCLAIMER

(1)Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. The Services are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis.
(2)meebee does not warrant that (i) the Services will meet your requirements or expectations, (ii) the Services will be delivered uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the Services will be accurate or reliable, (iv) any errors in the Services will be corrected.
(3)You understand and agree that meebee shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to any loss of profit, loss of goodwill, loss of business reputation, loss of data, cost of procurement of substitute goods or Services, or other intangible loss, resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the Services; (ii) any changes which meebee may make to the Services, or any permanent or temporary cessation in the provision of the Services; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) the deletion of, corruption of, or failure to store, any content and other communications data maintained or transmitted by or through the use of the Services; (v) or any other matter relating to the Services.
(4)Technical support is provided on a best-effort basis and only by email.
(5)You understand that meebee can use third parties (e.g., hosting partners) to provide the necessary resources (e.g., hardware, software, networking, storage, etc.) to run the Services.
(6)meebee may stop, remove, modify, or add (permanently or temporarily) Services (or features within Services) at meebee’s sole discretion. Any new, changed, or removed features are subject to the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Services after any such changes constitute your consent to the changes.
(7)If a provision of this agreement is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that shall not affect: (i) the validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of any other provision of this agreement; or (ii) the validity or enforceability in other jurisdictions of that or any other provision of this agreement.
(8)These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and meebee und replace all previous agreements under this title. There are no verbal subsidiary agreements.
