Just touched down in San Francisco last night for the always fun and exciting web 2.0 expo! Can’t wait to meet all the other top players in the web industry to learn some new tips, share some new tips and hopefully find a few AWESOME web gurus to join the meebee team!

With only a few weeks into April, meebee has been creating a lot of buzz within the web world. It has been a non-stop rollercoaster ride since the end of SXSW in Austin. In less than a month we rocked the crowd at Innovate! 2010, Berlin and got accepted into the prestigious Red Herring event.
The ball is still rolling and right now we are focusing on the highly anticipated “The Next Web” event and getting the most votes for the Vator Splash competition. We entered the competiton and have already started to make an impact, BUT we need your help! The contest is based on getting votes from the people. As a startup, we come across a lot of decisions. Some are little, some are big (a list of open positions at meebee). But the “devil’s in the details” as the saying goes, and we got stumped on this one. What should we name our “make a meeting” button? It appears throughout meebee.com, and on the very blog you’re reading. It needs to be action inducing, catchy and clear. So, help us out and give us your input. Pain in the A Q&A: At SXSW with SoundCloud’s Alex Ljung

meebee’s CEO JD caught up with SoundCloud’s CEO Alex at Austin’s SXSW festival. They rap about Alex arriving at the massive festival of SXSW, and the great growth that SoundCloud.com is receiving – from guitar players at home to The Smashing Pumpkin’s Billy Corgan. The also tackle the fact that Alex was having trouble meeting up with a friend due to a “messy mix” of SMS, phone tag and email. Alex is now going to check out meebee.com because of it!
